Flags Across Miami-Dade Initiative Comes to District 6

We are proud to announce that our very own Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis has launched the “Flags Across Miami-Dade” initiative as part of the national America 250 celebration this summer. The program encourages residents to proudly display American flags throughout their homes and neighborhoods as a symbol of civic pride, unity and community spirit.

As part of the initiative, a limited numerical of complimentary American flag kits are available for District 6 residents while supplies last.

Residents interested in participating can request a flag kit through Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis’ office. For more information, contact the District 6 office at 305-267-6377.

The effort also honors the veterans, immigrant families, and generations of residents who helped build and shape South Florida communities. The initiative is being launched in partnership with American Legion Post 98 and may eventually expand countywide.

This is a meaningful way to celebrate community, history, and neighborhood pride right here in Schenley Park!
