In 1925, Adelaide Bindley Davidson sold her home to real estate investor Alfred J. Richey and his wife Dorothy, who acquired the Bindley Farm as part of a purchase and began developing the land into the residential community now known as Schenley Park.

Long before Schenley Park became the charming residential community we know today, the land had a very different purpose. In the early 20th century, Bindley purchased 120 acres of farmland along Red Road, near Coral Way, to provide fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy products for his home.
